Pimm's Cup

Pimm's Cup 2

These cocktails are properly delicious! If you haven’t tried Pimm’s or had a Pimm’s Cup, I highly recommend you try one, or four.

Recently I saw a recipe post with comments along the following lines:
“Ooh this look so great, I plan to make it AND my other favorite recipe and compare… For Science”
Next commenter:
“Thank God for Science.”

Indeed! So, in the name os Science we made 4 variations of the Pimm’s Cup. You know, for comparison, to see which is best, to do the tough work, so you don’t have to. Or, so you can too!

Pimms Cup 1 and 2

I will include below all 4 variations we tried, each have their own merits: super easy, more herbal and complex, simple and fruity, and the batch version! It’s like a choose your own adventure.

We generally like a strongly flavored drink, spicy, tangy, herbal, so we lean toward ginger beer over ginger ale. For these recipes we used Fever Tree Ginger Beer across the board. If you prefer a tamer flavor you could go for your preferred ginger ale or lighter ginger beer.
