Za'atar Spiced Nuts

Roasted nuts are one of my favorite party snacks. This combination of almonds and cashews roasted with a healthy coating of Za’atar seasoning is super quick and easy (and tasty).

Za’atar Spiced Nuts

1-2 tablespoons olive oil
4 teaspoons za’atar
1 teaspoon salt
⅔ cup (3 ½ oz/ 100g) cashew nuts, raw or roasted
⅔ cup (3 ½ oz/ 100g) whole almonds, raw  

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 

2. Put the oil, za’atar, and salt into a large bowl and mix to form a paste. Add the cashews and almonds and stir until they are coated evenly. 

3. Sprinkle the coated nuts out on a baking sheet and roast for 8 minutes. Take them out of the oven, shake well, and return to the oven for another 5 minutes. 

4. Pour the roasted nuts onto paper towels to absorb any excess oil. Let cool and season to taste.
